TI MELEN GUESTHOUSE (ONDILI LODGES) – WINDHOEK

• Upon arrival in Windhoek, you will sleep at Ti Melen, a fine Guesthouse in Avis (East of Windhoek). This gives you the chance to shop for “Padkos” and to be well rested for your trip to the North the following day. Ti Melen offers breakfast, but dinner is at your own expense at one of Windhoek’s fine restaurants.

ETOSHA OBERLAND LODGE (ONDILI LODGES) – ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

• The next morning, after breakfast, you will head North on the B1 towards Okahandja. Stay on the B1 towards Otjiwarongo, then turn off towards Outjo onto the C38 which will take you directly to Ondili’s Etosha Oberland Lodge which is situated near the Andersson Gate (Okaukuejo) of the Etosha National Park. (approximately 4 hrs)

Your 2 night’s stay will be on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis. Ondili offers guided game drives into the Park as well as wonderful amenities and game sightings at the lodge itself.

HOHENSTEIN LODGE (ONDILI LODGES) – USAKOS

• After two wonderful nights at Etosha Oberland Ldoge, you will head back towards Outjo/Otjiwarongo, on the C38. From Otjiwarongo head towards Kalkfeld/Omaruru and finally Karibib on the C33. Turn onto the B2 towards Usakos and follow the Hohenstein signs towards a gravel road D1935 which will guide you to the lodge. (approximately 4 hrs)

Hohenstein has a magnificent view of the Erongo Mountains and offers hiking trails to rock paintings and mineral miners of the area. The lodge also offers lovely pool loungers and amenities to relax and unwind.

DESERT BREEZE LODGE  – SWAKOPMUND

• After 2 nights at Hohenstein Lodge, you will head back towards Usakos and then follow the B2 towards Swakopmund (1,5 hrs) where you will stay at Desert Breeze Lodge, situated on the banks of the Swakop River at the East entrance of the town. At Desert Breeze your bungalow is perched right across the Namib dunes and you will enjoy these spectacular views even while having breakfast. The peace and quiet will amaze you.

Your 2 night’s stay at Desert Breeze is on a B&B basis. Swakopmund has many exciting restaurants offering fresh seafood and typical German dishes. Your service desk will assist you with bookings and activities of which there are many in Swakopmund.

DESERT HOMESTEAD LODGE (ONDILI LODGES) – NAMIB NAUKLUFT PARK

• Follow the B2 back towards Usakos and turn right onto the new highway that takes you past the dunes towards the Walvisbay airport. Then turn left onto the C14 towards Solitaire. After Solitaire, turn onto the C19 and follow the road until you get to Desert Homestead Lodge. (approximately 5 hrs)

Here you will find exquisite rooms, horses and guided safaris into Sossusvlei (if you don’t want to drive yourself). Venture to the vlei very early in the morning with breakfast packs to sustain you after a strenuous climb up Big Daddy or Dune 45. Spend the rest of Day 2 resting at the pool, read and watch the Oryx coming in for a drink at the waterhole near the lodge. The Al Fresco dinners at Desert Homestead are a treat!

TI MELEN GUESTHOUSE (ONDILI LODGES) – WINDHOEK

• After two exciting days in the Namib Desert, you will head home towards Windhoek where you will be able to spend one last night at Ti Melen, before venturing home.
